On arrival at this property, it was clear that the subfloor would need a lot of work prior to installation. The customer picked AB LEWIS 180mm oiled tongue and groove boards which gives a warm natural feel through the house. Preparation The subfloor in this property consisted of old concrete with old bitumen adhesive and newly fitted chipboard in the extension. For us to get the correct levels we had to patch latex prior to latexing the full subfloor. With the subfloor consisting of chipboard and bitumen adhesive the Ardex N/A was our go to latex compound.
