Expert preparation and fitting, fewer snags
At The Floorsmith, our employed professionals are dedicated, experienced and driven by excellence. No detail is too trivial and fitting is always done with the end result in mind. We understand that the homes you build need to look good from day one and that as a developer, you don’t want to have to arrange return visits during the snagging process. We have been told that since The Floorsmith has been contracted at one of our Bloor Homes sites, snagging has significantly decreased and the senior site manager commented that he has never worked with a better company.
Use of our showroom
For purchasers buying off-plan, to help you ‘make the sale’, you can offer them a visit to our appointment-only showroom. One of our knowledgeable team will explain to the purchaser the benefits of choosing the right floor for their new home environment. We have a large number of samples available to view to match their specific requirements so that they feel that they are purchasing their dream home, from the floor up.
Custom showroom
If you prefer, we can install a bespoke showroom floor demonstrating the flooring options available to your clients. This was very successful for a recent Hills Homes site that we worked on.
Floor protection and door trimming
Alongside our professional fitting, we can protect the longevity of our flooring by trimming doors. This will make life easier as there will be no need to call carpenters back to cut doors over carpet. Protecting flooring whilst we work is also a given for The Floorsmith fitters. Why would we want to damage what you have paid for?
Property conversions
Many older buildings are now being converted into new homes as apartments or flats. Depending on your plans, you may wish to retain some of the original features. If you want to restore an existing wooden floor, for example, we may be able to sand and seal it to bring it back to life with a colour and finish to suit your plans. An eco-friendly option, this can be especially useful in heritage properties which have listed status.
